September 5, 2013 - Junior Auxiliary of Slidell's newest project, "Backpacks4Kids", kicked off on Thursday afternoon in Jennifer Anti's classroom. Project members Alison Atkinson, Barbara Gravois, Sharon Hewitt and Donna Lusignan, stuffed bags with food and books for students to bring home over the weekend. The project will continue every Thursday during the school year.
