Hearts United is our NAJA-mandated child welfare project.  Through our Adopt-A-Family program, we are helping a single mother obtain the resources needed to break the cycle of poverty for her and her two children.  Skills shared have included: meal planning, budgeting and financial planning, resume writing, and interviewing skills.  We have also provided them with school supplies, celebratory gifts for birthdays and holidays, and opportunities for socialization.
